Long time, no posts.

I'm ashamed to say it has been way too long since my last post. I could use the excuse of starting a tenure-track position and taking care of one-year old, but you already know all that! We have been so busy. Too busy. But Sean is doing great. Here are some pictures and stories to catch you up on our lives the last 6 (yikes!) weeks.

First, in early October, Sean finally met Doman (Bodo), Janny's son. Bodo is 6 months younger than Sean so they checked each other out but weren't too interested in each other. That will change, I'm sure!

Our very good friend, Manisha came to visit for a weekend. Sean had a blast having fun with her!

Then we had so much fun at Halloween! Sean dressed as a giraffe. He was very, very cute. The daycare had a little Halloween parade on Friday morning, where all the kids dressed up and paraded through campus. It was so cute!

Sean's class and teachers all dressed up:

Later that afternoon my Aunt Kay came to visit for the weekend from Florida. Sean immediately took to her and was just in love. My sister Taylor, her husband Chris, and son Niko came to visit also. The boys played and had a great time!

Aunt Kay with her grand-nephews!

Aunt Kay and Niko:

Taylor and I at the Aqueduct racetrack. Sean slept most of the time, but when he woke up he was mesmorized by the horses.

Having fun with Aunt Kay!

November has also been a busy month. Sean was invited to his first birthday party. Ethan, a friend from daycare, had his party at Gymboree. Sean had a blast playing, but especially loved the hula-hoops and the bubbles.

Sean has become quite the bookworm in the last few weeks. He will sit in the corner of the living room, "reading" his books. He has recently learned to say the word Book and does the sign for more at the same time ("More Books, More Books, More Books!"). He is crazy about books and often wants us to read the same one three-four-five times! When he doesn't want you to read the same book anymore, he takes it from us, throws it and grabs another! Watch out!

He even loves to "read" the biology text book for my course:

And to end this very long blog, here are a few pictures of Sean being silly!
