Sean's birthday weekend was full of fun! First, on Friday (his actual birthday) there was a little party at his day care. I brought in corn muffins for him and the other older babies in his class. We all sang happy birthday (well, the adults sang at least). He seemed pleased to have all the attention, but a little confused (he had also just woken up from a nap). After his party, I took Sean home to play (we wanted to go to the park but it rained all day). When Daddy got home we opened presents and played some more!

On Saturday we threw Sean a big birthday bash with his grandparents, Aunts, Uncle, and Cousins. Unfortunately not all of our family was able to make it up, but we had a fun time anyway!

Finally on Sunday we headed along with Granddaddy and Tia Thyra to Sean's favorite place, the beach!

The little girl next to us and her father built a fort and Sean was VERY interested in their creation.
He was so interested in them that I had to constantly chase after him. Here he is bringing his shovel over to "help".
