Crawling?

You all know by now that Sean has perfected rolling as a mode of mobility. Well, in the past week he has been looking like he's been trying to crawl. In his crib in particular, he gets his butt way up in the air and his head on the mattress, think a baby version of the yoga pose Downward Dog. And since Sunday he's been inching forward, more like stretching, to reach toys in front of him. But, just yesterday he started a version of what looks like the "commando crawl" (as my friend Nikki coined it when her son started it). I fortunately got it on Video and Sean's Aunt Mo (Scott's sister) even saw it in person (she's visiting this weekend). Today he's been trying to do it more, but he keeps getting his right arm stuck under him, it's pretty hilarious because he screeches the whole time. Don't worry little guy, you'll get it! Here is a video of yesterday, he only moved a few inches, but he's moving alright!

Spiderman commando crawled for months. I actually encouraged it by stacking his toys in towers all over the room and he would "crawl" from one tower to the next knocking them down.

The cat became very annoyed at this stage in his life. He would find a nice spot to lay in, do his three circles, then get all settled in a spot. Spiderman would finally be able to reach him, so the cat would get up and repeat the procedure on the other side of the room....here come Spiderman!
